Breguet 250th Year Anniversary Party
Breguet opened its doors on New Bond Street for a 250-year celebration and it felt like a private world built for people who care about the craft.
I moved between four floors, each with its own rhythm, watchmakers talking through the anatomy of a movements, trays of food moving quietly between clusters of guests, Breguet’s own champagne finding its way into every hand, most importantly, my hand.
The RedBar crowd gave the event a warmth, character and unbelievable feeling of passion. There was a table set with other pieces that had picked up awards over the years, including the Tradition and Marine collections, and we were encouraged to try them on, explore the weight and detail. Movement presentations revealed the history stitched into the brand, a story told through balance wheels and hand-engraved bridges.
It felt like being allowed backstage at time itself, a reminder of how deep Breguet’s roots run in watchmaking.
