Qatar Festival - Goodwood Races
Goodwood’s Qatar Horse Racing Festival 2025 was one part elegance, one part electric buzz, and about three parts champagne.
With Richmond Enclosure access, I found myself in racing’s version of first class. Picture this, golden sunshine beaming down (about 25 degress), the turf looking like it had been combed with a fine-toothed brush, and my earthy-toned formal outfit catching the light like it knew it was on a catwalk. The atmosphere was simply off the hook with a bit of mischief thrown in, as punters leaned into the rails and cheered like their voices could make a horse run faster.
Between races, I sipped chilled champagne while mingling with other fellow well-dressed racegoers who could talk form (that's racing speak for a horses previous success history) and fashion in the same breath.
The Richmond Enclosure served up luxury with a side of easy charm, offering views that made you feel part of the action, champagne bars, great food halls, and all without getting grass stains on your shoes. It was Goodwood at its finest, with a big splash of style on the side.
